It's Picture Time!!

Even though none of us slept a whole night while we were there, it was still an awesome vacation.  Let's take a picture tour ...

The main living area of the house we stayed in:

Mike and my bedroom (that's a king bed, but still no sleep number bed):

 Where is Erin's room you ask?  Well, she slept in the Pack'n'Play in the walk-in closet in our room.  

It worked.

The kitchen and dining area:

 Peggy and Doug are the owners of the ranch.  Doug's parents used to live in the house we were in until about 2 years ago.  Peggy has been running it as a bed and breakfast since they passed away.  She made us amazing breakfasts!  French toast, BISCUITS AND GRAVY (my personal favorite), pancakes, egg casserole and LOTS of strawberries because Aiden loved them so much!

We made some new friends!  This is Buddy the horse with Miss Peggy on the left.

We got to connect with old friends.  This is Derrick and Zane.  Derrick is Sonja's husband (Mike's good friend from college) and Zane is their 2-year old.  (I don't know why the women are missing from this picture.)  Instant friendship when you break out the bubbles! 

We went for a few walks:

Big Brother was such a great helper with Erin.  He loves her so much and she just LOVES when he plays with her!

But then we all made it home (in one way or another).

Emma-bo-bemma got to stay at Happy Tails for the week.  And they groomed her so beautifully!  We were all glad to see her.  Aiden was a little overly excited, but we're all settled down now.

So, I think Mike and I are totally exhausted.  But I'm glad we went.  Now we have the weekend to recover!!
