Fun for Everyone!

The county fair is in town!  So we headed down for a HOT, HOT, HOT evening of fun yesterday.  Aiden qualified for the rides and here is his first carnival experience:

A shake shack with dad!

Feel free to flash-back to Grease as they come out of the spinning tunnel.

Turns out Erin was tall enough for a ride.  These are the pre-pictures.  Just because she was tall enough doesn't mean it was a good idea.  She hated it.

Aiden loved it.

So why not try some cars!!!

Don't forget the Ferris Wheel!!

Selfie!!  Once again, she's not a fan.  It kinda surprised us both that Erin didn't like the rides since she's our little fearless kiddo.  But we're hoping she learned a little bit of caution after this.

So today we went to the Hasting's Museum with some friends.  They had a teepee replica the kids could play in and dress up clothes.  Turns out it's hard to get pictures when 4 kids are involved.  So all of the teepee ones were a wash.  But they had a one room log cabin and you can see some kid-like structures in these.

We packed our lunches and had a picnic out on the grass.  It has been one of Aiden's life-long ambitions (all of 4 years) to have a picnic.  So, score for everyone today.  I think at this point the kids had as much educational "fun" as they could handle.

Yes, Erin took up residence on her "bankie".  It's her new favorite pose.

And we all love Oreos.  We. Love. Oreos.

So busy times trying to keep everyone cool and active at the same time.  But I love these kiddos and most days wouldn't have it any other way.
